Shorelines
& Shipwrecks Tour®
Departs Mondays It’s off to Absecon Island & the “Historic Gardner’s Basin” where you’ll experience the sea-air on the open waters for a 1- hour scenic shoreline cruise. While on the cruise, you’ll hear about barrier islands, indigenous species and maritime history. Next, enjoy a fresh seafood sampler* from the Back Bay Ale House, while overlooking the Inlet. After lunch spend time (on your own) exploring the Crafter Shoppes, strolling along the water, or visiting the Atlantic City Aquarium (additional $’s required). Upon departing the Basin, hear colorful narration about Rumrunners, Bootleggers, Shipwrecks, The Grave Yard Inlet, Widows Walk and much, much more. Splash of Atlantic City Tour®
Departs Tuesdays Enjoy colorful narration describing Absecon Islands’ past, present and future as you journey through town. Learn about the boardwalk, Miss America, saltwater taffy and the plethora of icons that have made Atlantic City famous. Your tour includes a brief photo-op stop at Lucy the Elephant, the world’s largest seaside pachyderm. Next, it’s off to the newly restored 1857 Absecon Lighthouse. Climb 228 steps to the top and enjoy a breathtaking view of the spectacular coastline. Then visit Historic Gardner’s Basin where you can explore the Atlantic City Aquarium, with eight tanks chock full of marine life, a coral reef, touch tank and fun-filled interactive computer center. Gingerbread Tour To Cape May®
Departs Thursdays Be transported down the Jersey Cape and travel over a bridge into a Victorian Getaway – The National Historic Landmark City of Cape May. In Cape May, stroll (on your own) along the charming streets and discover the quaint Victorian architecture and explore the outdoor, cobble stoned Washington Street Mall, including many upscale shops and restaurants. Or, choose to stay aboard the trolley and visit the Cape May Winery & Vineyard. At the winery you will experience a guided tour, then it’s off to enjoy award-winning wines (wine tasting), while taking in the spectacular view from their vineyard deck (no additional $’s required).
